Scotch on Scotch is an oak-aged Imperial Scotch Ale based loosely on Boulevards ‘Snow & tell’ and inspired by their ‘Rye on Rye’.
I grabbed a 4-pack the other day in Guaynabo….
The ale has a huge malt presence which include caramel and amber malts with a touch of smoked malts to add to the beers complexity. Hoping with Magnum, Chinook and Northern Brewer hops contributes to a spicy earthiness and the exposure to oak chips makes for a smooth drinking beer.
ABV 9.6%
