Lúpulos Hermanos have just released Saison De La Pepé, a French Style Saison. Sadly they have already run out, but the good news is; a second batch is on the way.
For Saison De La Pepé, Lúpulos blended traditional Saison Yeast with the wild funkiness of Brettanomyces, that gives a beer that pours a hazy golden hue, with lively carbonation and a crisp dry body.
William Norris says “as you indulge in Saison De La Pepé, you’ll be greeted with tropical fruit aromas, hints of spice, and that signature barnyard funk from the Brettanomyces. The finish is refreshingly dry with a subtle tartness”.
Saison De La Pepé has an ABV of 5.8% and will be available at Lúpulos Hermanos as soon as the second batch is ready. Art work for this beer, if you haven’t already guessed is inspired by the popular cartoon character Pepe Le Pew.
