Pura Vida Brewery are a nano brewery based in Cabo Rojo, Puerto Rico. In 2023 they returned to the Puerto Rican Craft Beer scene after a hiatus. Owners and Master Brewers Eileen Ruiz y Rhaiza Casiano have been cranking out the beers this past year with great success.

Hyggelig – Amber Ale (6.2% ABV, 33 IBU)
Hyggelig is their flagship beer that is brewed with local Puerto Rican Honey. It is a medium bodied beer that is well balanced with notes of Caramel, Raisins and American Hops.

Piel de Otoño is an American Pale Ale that is brewed with local Puerto Rican Starfruit Pulp and Passion Fruit Pulp that give the beer a subtle bittersweet and juicy mouthfeel. The beer is well balanced with flavors of Tropical Fruit, Citrus and Pine

Pura Vida Brewery Production and Taproom
Currently Pura Vida Brewery is producing around 20 BBLs per month and their beers are available on tap at various establishments around the island as well as their brewery (Saturdays Only). You will also find some of their collaboration beers such as Ancestras available in cans, when available. Their Brewery / Taproom is open to the public on Saturdays from 11am – 6pm
