In addition, it has a quality control laboratory that guarantees the freshness and consistency of their product, from the moment of its manufacture and packaged, until it reaches the consumer’s table.
Miramar Brewing LLC, was created with the purpose of rescuing Old Harbor Brewery, the first craft brewery in Puerto Rico. This acquisition reinforces key aspects that will highlight the values and philosophy of this brand. The project contemplates the revitalization, rebranding and reformulation of recipes of the brewery founded in Old San Juan, emphasizing the consistency, quality and freshness of its products.
The management of this new project aims to create alliances for the growth of the world of craft beers in Puerto Rico, as part of a plan to bring local economic injection, along with job creation.
Miramar Brewing will promote not only local production, but also cooperatives among Puerto Ricos small and medium-sized businesses, with their ability to produce recipes for third parties in a co-packaging format of cans and bottles (Contract Brewing).
Their goal in short and long term is to help small or regional breweries to produce products here in Puerto Rico and not have to send their brewing recipes to the United States, thus avoiding the logistics problems.
“We are working to face the challenges of the industry in the short and long term term, focused on developing the company in a dynamic environment because we trust in the ability to develop and promote the beer that is made here. Also, we open our space to encourage the economy of Puerto Rico by generating jobs and reducing imports,” said Francisco Marrero, general manager of Miramar Brewing LLC.
This business plan would position Miramar Brewing LLC as a diverse one of projects offering different options for a public that constantly seeks variety and novelty and quality in their products. Miramar Brewing LLC, plans to open a “taproom – restaurant” in Carolina in the middle of next year.
