Thanks to RickyCraftBier on FaceBook we can share with you the news that Asomante Brewery based in Aibonito are hoping to be launching by the middle of 2023.
Asomante Brewery gets its name from the Asomante neighborhood in Aibonito and was founded by Master Brewers Félix Otero and Julio Canino who are natives of Barranquitas and Aibonito.
Initially Asomante Brewery will utilize equipment capable of producing 5BBL’s per month and to date have produced around 50 batches in their business development stage.
Their first beer launch will be ‘Patria Light’ which Felkix describes as “a Light Lager that has a tropical character more in tune with the Caribbean, and different from the traditional American style”. Patria Light will have an ABV of 4.9% and 19 IBU’s. They hope to launch Patria Light by the middle of the year.
Asomante Brewery distribution is set to be handled by Latin Drinks who currently distribute products such as “Pomelo”, “Jalda”, “Mojitos Decretos” and “Playa”.
