Cold Blood Brewery

Cold Blood Brewery is a small batch brewery based in Quebradillas, Puerto Rico. Master Brewers Juan Carlos Alejandro and Maribelisse Nazario have been producing beers since 2019 and their taproom has been open since July 2021. 

Their brewery and taproom is located at Callle Lamela 113 in Quebradillas and is open Friday to Sunday

Puente la Bellaca – American Style IPA (7% ABV & 69 IBU)

Delicious IPA with rich citrus, floral and pine notes, that is well balanced with a crips finish

Guajataka – American Wheat Beer (6% ABV & 29 IBU)

A Wheat Beer brewed with Lemon Peel and Ground Coriander Seeds. The beer is named after a local neighborhood and also the Guajataka State Park

Matabuey – American Amber / Red Ale (5.3% ABV & 30 IBU)

Honey colored with sweet flavors and aromas from the HOPS used. The name is in honor of a bush that grows in Puerto Rico

Pirata is an Imperial Stout (8.2% ABV & 67 IBU)

Chocolate and Coffee aromas and a soft bitterness that is balanced with the sweetness of the malts

00678 – Blonde Ale (4.2% ABV & 20 IBU)

A light bodied and refreshing Blonde Ale brewed with Cashmere and Amarillo hops that give it soft tomes of melon, lemon and spices.

Jabali – American Wheat Beer (4% ABV & 29 IBU)

Brewed with Lemon Peel and Ground Coriander Seeds.  At just 4% ABV this is a very sessional beer

Puente Blanco – New England Style IPA (6.2% ABV & 48 IBU)

Tropical and Citrus aromas with medium bitterness. Citra, El Dorado and Mosaic hops and the combination of Kveik Voss yeast produces flavors of pineapple, lemon and peach

El Merendero – Fruit Sour Beer (5.6% ABV & 30 IBU)

Fermented with Lallemand Philly Sour Yeast and infused with Passion Fruit that gives this beer a spectacular passion fruit flavor and aroma.

Puerto Hermina is a Weizenbock (7% ABV & 20 IBU)

This medium bodied beer has notes of Banana, cloves and vanilla, along with aromas of toasted bread and malts

Concho – American Style IPA (7.9% ABV & 77 IBU)

This is their latest release (September 2022) and is a collaboration with home brewer Anolis Brewery in Puerto Rico. Concho is brewed with a Malt Pilsner base and 7 HOP varieties to give it a spectacular aroma, bitterness and flavor

Cold Blood Brewery Production & Taproom

Currently Cold Blood Brewery is producing around 5.5 BBLs per month and once their latest equipment has been approved by the Puerto Rico Government they should be producing around 30 BBLs per month. This increase in production capacity will see Cold Blood Brewey beers in more craft beer spots around Puerto Rico

Cold Blood Brewery taproom is open Fri & Sat Noon – 11pm, Sun Noon – 7pm and they typically have around 18 draft / tap beers with half of them serving Cold Blood beers and the rest showcasing other local Puerto Rican breweries. They also have regular Pop Up Kitchens from local food vendors.
