Cold Blood Brewery will be releasing the first batch of their Seasonal Calabazón Ale this Friday October 21. The second batch will be available the following Friday October 28.
Calabazón is brewed with pumpkins from local Puerto Rican farms, with added spices to give it that full Fall flavor.
Cold Blood Brewery describe Calabazón as “a Smashing Pumpkin Ale with an ABV of 5.5%. It is a beer with a fantastic aroma that reminds us of the Fall Season with hints of cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg and cloves. Up front it is sweet thanks to the malts that we use and that is complemented by a soft bitterness from the hops and ends with a sweet, soft and solid pumpkin aftertaste.”
Calabazón – Smashing Pumpkin Ale will be available at the Cold Blood Brewery Tap Room in Quebradillas, which is open Friday & Saturday Noon – 11pm and Sunday Noon – 7pm
