Boxlab Brewing Company are a brewery WITHOUT a brewery. Yes you read that correctly, at this moment in time Boxlab call themselves a nomad brewery. Jorge Castro and his team brainstorm and create their recipes at the headquarters in Aguadilla and then arrange to brew them at Ingeniero Microbrewery in Manatí, and at FOK Brewing Company. in Caguas.
Boxlab’s beers are brewed in limited quantities and are sold exclusively at The Beer Box in Aguadilla, alongside a great selection of craft beers.
When they started brewing beers in Puerto Rico, Boxlab Brewing Company introduced the island to Demolicion an American Strong Ale @ 10% ABV and from there they have produced:
20Hz (Twenty Hertz) a Belgian-Style Farmhouse Ale -@ 5% ABV
Sol Invicto a Belgo-American Pale Ale @ 7.3% ABV
Rompecabez a Russian Imperial Stout @ 9.3% ABV
Quadrafonico a Belgian-style Strong Ale @ 10.1% ABV
Rudy Brown an American Brown Ale @ 6.6% ABV
La Potoroca an American Wheat Ale with spices @ 6% ABV
Currently still a nomad brewery, Boxlab hope to eventually brew their creations at their own location in Aguadilla; so watch this space.
