The first beer from the highly anticipated ‘SabroCitra Challenge’ is here: La Playuela Summer IPA by Boqueron Brewing Co.
I believe this is the first time that Boqueron have released La Playuela since 2022 and for 2024 they used their signature grain bill featuring 2-Row, English Malts, and Wheat and then added Sabro and Citra Hops as part of the “Sabrocitra Challenge” an initiative organized by their friend and colleague Alberto Camacho.
Boqueron Brewing says that “this year’s La Playuela Summer IPA as having a fruity and creamy aroma, delivering an exceptionally refreshing taste with hints of citrus with a dry finish.”
With an ABV of 5.6% and 30-35 IBUs, La Playuela ‘SabroCitra’ Summer IPA is available now at Boqueron Brewing Co. Don’t miss out on this summer delight!
