From various posts on Facebook, I’m happy to say that Bear Republic Beers are once again available in Puerto Rico., and will distributed around the island by Bellester Hermanas Inc.
Bear Republic are located in Sonoma County, California and have been brewing their award-winning handcrafted ales since 1995.
“Bear Republic beers are brewed and aged following our time tested and proven methods. We hand select only the choicest ingredients for each batch. The specialty grains and hops used by Bear Republic have been chosen for their unique characteristics.”

Racer 5
Is a golden hoppy IPA that is a full bodied brewed with malted barley, wheat, and crystal malts. The malt base highlights the unique floral qualities of Columbus and Cascade hops from the Pacific Northwest. Racer 5 is one of America’s most award winning IPAs that has helped define the West Coast style.
It has a an ABV of 7.5 and pairs well with Spicy Food, Aged Cheddar, Poultry and Seafood
Pace Car Racer
Is a straw colored Session IPA with tons of hoppy pine and citrus aromas and a smooth malt flavor that empties your glass at a speedy pace. This session IPA is the newest addition to the Racer™ family.
It has an ABV of 4 and pairs well with Soft Cheeses, Roasted Artichokes, Burgers, Spicy Foods.
Grand Am
A golden American Pale Ale inspired by Bear Republics passion for racing. It manages to balance both classic and new American hop varieties with a distinct malt backbone.
It has an ABV of 6 and pairs well with Pizza, burgers and salads
Double Aught
A straw colored Pilsner that inspired by the perfectly balanced light lagers of Central Europe, Double Aught is a crisp and refreshing beer that’s brewed with 100% barley malt and imported Hallertauer hops.
It has an ABV of 5 and pairs will with Spicy foods and traditional German fare
Hop Shovel
A yellow colored American IPA that is dry with a soft and rounded mouthfeel that is achieved by using a high proportion of wheat and rye. Hop varieties Mosaic, Meridian, and Denali provide an abundance of flavor and aroma.
It has an ABV of 7.5 and pairs well with Spicy Foods, Burgers, Barbecue, Roasted Veggies
