Ocean lab Brewing Co just announced they will be releasing a Barrel Aged Series of beers over the next 3 weeks.
The first to be released is Barrel Aged Ocean Lab Blonde Ale. This beer has been aged and meticulously matured in Pinot Noir barrels for 6 months, to give it a distinctive character, where the beer has absorbed the rich essence of the Pinot Noir barrels.
Ocean lab says that “as you explore it, you will encounter a symphony of fruity and vinous qualities on the nose, with notes of dark cherry, raspberry, peaches and delicate floral notes. The infusion of cherry and blueberry on the palate is skillfully complemented by the subtle warmth of vanilla, creating a harmonious balance with the firm acidity and spicy flavors. This complexity makes this beer experience truly refreshing and unique.”
