Aslin Beer Co. are the latest US based brewery to join the portfolio of Craft Beer Puerto Rico (Ballester Hermanos Inc.) and arrived on the island several days ago.
Based in Virginia, Aslin Beer Co. has been operating since 2015 when they were founded by Andrew Kelley and Kai Leszkowicz. Both Andrew and Kai married into the Aslin family, hence the name of their brewery.
Aslin Beer’s aim “is to create a culture that celebrates beer with a passion and depth of knowledge that’s contagious to others”.

Power Moves (IPA)
Brewed with Simcoe, Chinook, Citra & Mosaic Hops. Aslin’s “poster IPA delivers huge notes of citrus and tropical fruit.”

Clear Nights (West Coast IPA)
Brewed with Chinook, Centennial, Mosaic, and Citra Hops. Aslin says “This West Coast Style IPA has a peach and tangerine aroma balanced with notes of tropical citrus and dank”.

No Backsies (Hefeweizen)
This is a Traditional German Hefeweizen – A Golden wheat beer with well balanced notes of clove and banana. It is brewed according to century old German Brewing techniques.

Volcano Sauce (Sour Ale)
This beer is Conditioned on Blueberry & Blackberry and contains milk sugar and vanilla for a creamy smoothness. Aslin say that the can is packed with “explosively delicious flavor.”
