Pura Vida Brewery return to the Puerto Rican Craft Beer scene with the release of ANCESTRAS an American Style Pale Ale.
ANCESTRAS will be launched on Saturday March 18 at the “Candela Cervecera” event being held at The Beer Box in Aguadilla to commemorate Women’s History Month.
The beer has been developed as a collaboration with Boxlab Brewing Co. and Pura Vida says that it has “the aromas and flavors of green and tropical fruits”.
Pura Vida says that “this is a powerful union in which we seek to contribute in some way and create awareness of the machismo that we are constantly experiencing in the beer industry and on our island“.
They hope that the “Candela Cervecera” with its educational and musical offerings along with their ANCESTRA release will be the start of a dialogue that will move everyone forward in a positive way.
The art work for ANCESTRA was created by local Puerto Rican artist Mya Pagan.
ANCESTRA is a limited release and has an ABV of 5.3% and will be available at The Beer Box in Aguadilla on Saturday March 18 at the “Candela Cervecera” event
