Abita Brewing Company just announced two new beers for 2018; the Umbrella Drink and Shotgun Double IPA. Not sure if these beers are destined for Puerto Rico, so if you see or hear about them, please share in the comments
Umbrella Drink
Abita’s Umbrella Drink is ‘an ideal choice for enjoying summers on the beach or boating around the river or lake’ . The beer is brewed with pale malt, wheat, oats and then hopped with Ekuanot and Centennial hops. Pomegranate and passion fruit add to the fruitiness of the beer.
Umbrella Drink has an ABV of 5.8% and an INU of 40
Shotgun Double IP
This Double IPA from Abia, Shotgun is brewed with pale malt and then hopped with a multitude of varieties including: Amarillo, Centennial and then dry hopped with , Citra, Cascade and Simcoe. This beer gives you a blast of intense flavors with aromas of pine, citrus and tropical fruit.
Shotgun Double IPA has an ABV of 8.5% and an IBU of 85
