Puerto Rico Beer Week will run from December 2 -9, 2023 and is being orgabized by Craft Beer Generation. The week long event is the celebrate the Puerto Rican Craft Breweries who work tirelessly to bring great tasting beers to the beer loving folk here in Puerto Rico.
During the week there will be several special events and beer releases to mark the occassion and culminates on DFecember 9 with El Día Nacional de la Cerveza Puertorriqueña / National Puerto Rican Beer Day.
Saturday December 2
Craft Beer Off Flavors – La Taberna Lupulo, Old San Juan
La Taberna Lupulo will be hosting a Cradft Beer Off Flavors class on Saturday December 2,
This will be a guided class where Zalika Guillory the co owner of La Taberna Lupulo and a Certified Cicerone will guide you through a series of off flavors that occur in craft beers.
You will have the chance to taste 10 of the most common ‘off flavors’, including Diacetyl, DMS, Acetaldehyde, Oxidation, Isoamyl Acetate and more.
The class will cost $20pp plus tax and starts at 10am and includes a local Puerto Rican beer to was away those off flavors.
1st Festival Ciudad Cerveza en Reina Mora Brewing, Sabana Grande
Reina Mora Brewing in Sabana Grande will be hosting thgeir first City Beer Festival in the Plaza del Mercado.
The event will feature a host of local Puerto Rican breweries including: Reina Mora, Old Harbor Brewery, Asomante Brewery, Boxlab Brewing, Zurc, Callejon Brewery, Camacho Beers, Señorial Brewing, Ocean Lab Brewing, Dragon Stone Abbey, Rincón Beer Company, Cold Blood Brewery, and Old Harbor Brewery
There will also be local artisans, food trucks and a Reina Mora Christmas After Party.
Home Brewing Basics – Papa Rupe Brewing & Road To Craft Beer, Ponce
Papa Rupe Brewing and Road To Craft Beer will be hosting a Homne Brewing Basics course.
The event costs $60pp and includes beer samples, snacks and a practical workshop with live brewing.

New Beer Release – Boxlab Brewing Co.
Boxlab Brewing Co will be releasing CHOCOBOMBA Imperial Chocolate Stout as their contribution to PR Beer Week. The beer will be available at their taproom The Beer Box in Aguadilla from 4pm

Beer and Poetry – Cacique Brewing, Orocovis
On Saturday December 9, Cacique Brewing will be hosting a Beer and Poetry Night at their tap room in Orocovis
