The latest beer from the Rio Grande based Brew Taller Experimental is St. Joseph Fruit Harvest Ale.
St. Joseph Fruit Harvest is a Belgium Ale with Berries and Lime, and Brew Taller says “it has a nice fruit flavor with just a hint of tartness that comes from the berries”.
The beer was brewed with fruit purees of Raspberry, Sweet Cherries, Blueberries and a touch of lime. It has an ABV of 6-7%.
The name comes from the fact in the Catholic tradition, the month March is dedicated to St. Joseph who is the patron saint of the sick and hungry. The March Harvest is also dedicated to St. Joseph.
