The Masasamba Collaboration series of beers was an idea to fuse fresh pulp from guanabana harvested in Ponce and make different styles of beer collaborating with different local breweries.

The first beer collaboration was between Birriola and Boxlab Brewing Co that produced Masasamba Belgian Style Ale

The second collaboration sees Birriola team up with Cacique Brewing Co. to bring you Masasamba Guanábana Sour Ale.

Cacique Brewing Co says that Masasamba Guanábana Sour Ale is “co-fermented with sweet Soursop pulp (Guanábana Dulce), with a light body pale yellow . off white color that is refreshingly tart but not overly sour”

Masasamba Guanábana Sour Ale has an ABV of 5% and will be available on draft at Birriola in Ponce
