Last week Boquerón Brewing Co announced the arrival of their Cans of Blonde Ale to Puerto Rico.
This is the first Puerto Rican Craft Beer to be produced in cans and will be available island wide in July.
Currently Boquerón Brewing Co do not have the capability to produce the cans at their brewery and have contracted out the production of Boquerón Blonde Ale in Cans to Stevens Point Brewery in Wisconsin.
Distribution around Puerto Rico will be carried out by V. Suárez & Co.
Boquerón Blonde Ale’s distinctive orange can will allow the Puerto Rican consumer and tourist to taste a local high-quality local beer.
The formula created by Juan Carlos Torres Monllor, is of golden appearance and It enjoys a balanced aroma between malt and fruit hops. Its smooth and balanced taste makes a beer suitable for any palate.

Marketing Boquerón Blonde Ale in cans was a decision of Torres Monllor to assure the consumer the best version of your product. The canned packaging preserves the beer the best by preventing its contact with the sun’s rays and oxygen. In addition, its construction in aluminum allows the can to be easy to handle and can then be recycled.
Boquerón Brewing Co. is also available in barrel format in its variants Blonde Ale and Crashboat IPA.
